Yeah, I sure am. What's up?

There's something I want to show you. Can you meet me at the music building?

Certainly. What time would you like me to be there?

Can you be there in about 20 minutes?

[hairstroke]

Works for me. I'll see you in a little bit.

[ Before leaving, he had to make sure that he looked presentable. Once that was done, he quickly makes his way out and heads over to he music within twenty minutes. His eyes were glancing around to make sure that he didn't miss Kaede since he's still not quite used to her blonde hair. ]

[ She spots him first, running up to him. Today she's wearing her music note hair pins, since they've become one of her favorites. ]

Sorry to keep you waiting! I was running a little late. Are you ready to go in?

[hairstroke]

[ He does take notice of the music note hair pins. If he recalls correctly, this is the first time that he's seen her wear them. Combined with the sudden invite to the music department, he wonders if maybe she's found a new hobby. ]

You're fine. I just got here so there wasn't a wait.

[ Leon nods his head and makes his way to the door, holding it open for her. ]

I'm ready and quite looking forward to seeing what you have in store.

Thanks! [ She walks in, leading him to a practice room and opening the door for him.

It's one of the bigger practice rooms, with extra chairs and a piano inside. ]

Sit wherever you want! [ She's a little nervous, but excited at the same time. ]

[ When he steps into the room, he looks pretty amazed by how big the room is. Admittedly, he hasn't had much reason to come into the music department since it's not his forte but he had to admit that it's nice.

He smiles at her suggestion. ]

Alright.

[ At her words, he picks a chair that's close to the piano. ]

[ She smiles back at him before sitting down at the piano. ]

I thought about what song I wanted to play for you, and I thought you would like this one the most.

[ With that, Kaede starts to play a song. The way she plays will make it evident that Kaede got the talent that she spoke with him about a while ago. It isn't just her technique that is part of her talent, though, as the way she plays makes it obvious that she's playing for him rather than simply playing notes. ]

Ah...

[ He's a little speechless when she suddenly plays the piano. Watching her fingers gracefully hit each note on the piano keys was a spectacular sight. Above all, the song she was playing is beautiful. Listening to her soothed his soul and he felt at peace as he watches her. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her.

Above all else, what made him happiest was that she figured out her talent. This whole time, he wondered if not being able to remember her talent bothered her. So he was happy on her behalf as well. ]

That was beautiful, thank you for the performance. Your talent is spectacular.

[spiritoso]

[ She smiles brightly, clasping her hands together. ]

I'm so glad you think so! [ And she really is. Leon's opinion is important to her, so the fact that he liked her performance means a lot. ]

I wasn't sure what to think of this talent at first but... I'm starting to really enjoy it.

[ Kaede's smile is infectious and upon seeing it, a bright smile also forms on his lips. There's something about this girl that puts him at peace whenever he was near her. ]

That's good to hear. The most important part is for you to be happy and have fun with your talent.

Do you plan on performing in front of an audience? I'm sure you'll make plenty of people happy when they listen to your music.

I've thought about it, but I don't know if I'm confident yet. [ Her smile turns a little shy. ] Maybe if I perform for more people I'll get used to it. I was a little nervous just playing for you.

But... I'm glad you think it would make people happy.

[hairstroke]

If it's something you aren't confident in, then there's no need to force yourself just yet. [ Kaede is a good, earnest girl and he knew that if she put her mind to it, she'll be a pro in no time. ] I'm sure once you get used to it, you will do good.

Y-Yeah. [ Now he's suddenly feeling embarrassed by what he said. Some things never change. ] I-It's a good talent to have.

[ His embarrassment makes her laugh a little, but only because she knows that it means he's being sincere. ]

I'm happy you think so. To be honest, I was a little worried it wouldn't be useful at all.
