[When Leon receives this, he's both relieved and tired. It's been a long night and he hasn't been able to get a single wink of sleep. Seeing Kaede's message was a good thing to get his mind off of this stalker app.]
Yeah, I heard about it from my cousin whose had this app for about a month. Normally, I wouldn't believe such a thing but apparently it's true. He's been remembering things from a different life.
Absolutely. All of this feels like it's something out of a science fiction novel. It's beyond ridiculous.
[Leon's quiet for a moment as he reads over her next message. She's rightfully worried and he feels both bad and mad at this god forsaken app. He's already beginning to feel embarrassed as he types out this message to her.]
Should it happen and if you ever need someone to vent to, both my ears and phone is always available.
[The heat on his cheeks begins to grow even more. Kaede you are a literal angel that is too good for this world]
The same goes for me, I'll do whatever I can to help you out.
All right, you have my word. Since you're telling me your memories, I promise to tell you all of mine. You can count on me to listen to anything you happen to remember.
You'll make a great leader one day, Akamatsu. It's an attitude like yours that will get you far in life.
[Li-Na shows up a little early. Her hair is mostly tucked under a hood, but the fringe is still visible. A part of her just wants to stay at Chiyo's house and avoid having people see her new hair color, but she also knows from past conversations with people that it's going to be at least a month before it stops attracting attention.
And she wants dim sum. Not even weird changes to her hair is going to keep her from having dim sum today.
So here she is, a bag of homemade dog treats in hand, knocking on Leon's door.]
[The sound of happy, excited barking can be heard on the other side, followed by the quick tap of footsteps and a quiet shushing of the dog, and the door opens shortly after. It's not Leon who answers, but the other resident of the apartment instead, mostly dressed aside from his coat and shoes, trying to hold back a bouncy little poodle from dashing out the doorway with his foot. Xiaolang's face lights up a little in surprise at the sight of Li-Na, however, and lets the dog run out to greet her, thrilled to have this new human in their midst.]
Li-Na! You're here early.
[Not that he's upset about that-- he actually sounds a little pleased. Xiaolang was very much the punctual type, so it was nice to see it was something that ran in the family.]
Ah-- come inside. [He opens the door more fully now, gesturing for her to enter, not even really noticing the hood she had on over her hair. It was cold after all, so she probably wanted to keep warm.] We're almost ready to go, so it shouldn't be too long. I can try to grab him if you want to introduce yourself, though?
[ Speak of the devil himself. Leon calls out from the back of the apartment while putting his coat on. Jasmine's happy barks was enough to tip him off that a certain someone was already here. Likewise, Leon was another one who is extremely punctual, so he was pleased to know that Xiaolang's relative was like them.
Once he was situated, he's holding onto both Xiaolang and his own presents for Li-Na as he steps over to the doorway where everyone was gathered. The hoodie didn't dawn on him too much either since he figured that she was simply just cold from the weather. Upon seeing her, he nods at her as a form of greeting. ]
Hello Li-Na.
[ HE SAYS WITH THE MOST CASUAL TONE EVER, while also petting Jasmine and telling her to calm down. Sorry Xiaolang... ]
