[ You can practically hear the star mark punctuated at the end of her sentence. ]

[ It's true! Even if he doesn't want to admit it...

No matter how many times she told him 'I love you', his heart was always and forever going to flutter with happiness. When she leans in, he's swallowing hard as he stares down at her, fully expecting a kiss on the lips.

So when she kisses on the cheek, he's surprised. There's a slight look of disappointment but he did enjoy the feeling of her soft lips against his cheeks. ]

[ He swears that he heard a star mark coming out of her mouth. None the less, he lifts her chin up to where she can gaze directly into his eyes. He wastes no time in closing the distance by pressing his own lips against hers for a tender kiss. ]

[ That look of disappointment is actually pretty nice on him, if she doesn't say so herself. But when he suddenly lifts her chin so she can look right into his eyes, her own widen ever so slightly when he presses his lips on her own in what seems to be warm, affectionate.

And it takes her off guard enough that she makes a rather excited noise at the kiss.
